NALD's most recent seminar was for literature specialists thinking of setting up a literature project in a regeneration context.
Led by Sarah Butler, Director of UrbanWords, the day was an introduction to the world and language of regeneration, and showed how writers and literature organisations can develop projects that engage with regeneration and urban change.

NALD was delighted to partner literaturetraining in Turning the Page on December 5th. A day exploring how Scotland’s Creative Writing Postgraduates could apply the skills developed at university to make and sustain their living as a writer.
NALD is currently reviewing its CPD provision before announcing any more seminars and courses, although we do have some ideas bubbling ... a look at how and why we commission writers for example, as well as mentoring strands for experienced specialists and for people new to the field. We will be consulting formally shortly, but welcome any thoughts, suggestions, needs in the meantime at director@nald.org
