To launch our new NALD Online Book Forum, in June and July we offered free copies of ‘Outliers’, the latest provocative and best-selling book by the influential thinker Malcolm Gladwell, author of ‘Blink’ and ‘The Tipping Point’ to our full paying members who want to join the forum.
Considering the story of ‘success’, the book looks at what makes us all unique and why some people achieve so much more than others.

We selected ‘Outliers’ as the book for the first forum in July which took place on 19 July. Future books are to be selected by popular interest. Those who sign up to the forum will meet online, using Skype (or an alternative) every four to six weeks. We anticipate that each forum will have a different mix of people depending on who signs up. For each forum we will aim for a minimum of five people contributing – those who can’t make the online forum discussion can contribute to threads later on.
