About Gerry Wardle

I am a one-person freelance operation and have traded as TriplePA since 2000. I manage (and create) a variety of literature-related projects of an eclectic nature.

For instance, as Mslexia's consortium partner I manage an annual tour of live literature events to literature festivals, arts centres and theatres around the UK. In 2006, I was tour-manager for the New Writing North/Glas UK tour of young Russian writers. I handle event bookings for literary poets, such as Don Paterson, on a project-by-project basis. I have acted for event and festival organisers as a freelance additional programmer/booker of writers. I commission poets and short story writers for the Blinking Eye website.

I'm also interested and have experience in projects taking writers into schools and universities, and in reader development work, such as establishing reading groups.

I'm happy to consider taking on part-time and short-term contract work on a freelance basis for other organisations involved in literature development.
